Mikael Juhlin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Orla Haxmark made a huge save. With his leg Orla Haxmark managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when INIXET BK's Mikael Juhlin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that David Herstad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kent Näver was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 18th minute Kris Noander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Näver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orla Haxmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peder Alström in the 19th minute of play. Kent Näver didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kris Noander went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Kent Näver came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Gettrup SIK's Kris Noander. But to his dismay, Kris Noander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After the first half Gettrup SIK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Isak Krontoft could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Kent Näver made a huge save. With a little luck, INIXET BK's Kent Näver got control of the ball when Isak Krontoft tried to sneak it across the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, INIXET BK's goal looked a bit too open when Isak Krontoft came free, but Kent Näver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, INIXET BK's goalkeeper Kent Näver had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kris Noander. The Gettrup SIK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gettrup SIK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
