The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fausto Argider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Macias, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. When Tadeo Macias came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Barrilete Cósmico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeo Macias couldn't finish the play. Maximiliano Naelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gervasio Fertus during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes Barrilete Cósmico got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Fertus. Jaime Dantae recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Berutti FC's zone, Maximiliano Naelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Argider came out of the goal and Maximiliano Naelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute of the match, Jaime Dantae tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mario Olando saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 36th minute, Haroldo Edur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th match minute, Barrilete Cósmico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Macias to maneuver through the defense. Mario Olando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Dantae in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 played minutes Berutti FC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Edur. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Macias in the 46th minute of play forced Berutti FC's goalkeeper Fausto Argider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javier Cresconio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mario Olando having to make a save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Haroldo Edur to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Edur in the 58th minute of play forced Barrilete Cósmico's goalkeeper Mario Olando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 minutes, Fernan Ireno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrilete Cósmico and the Berutti FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernan Ireno kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Haroldo Edur struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Mario Olando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berutti FC. A collision led to Barrilete Cósmico getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Emiliano Gerazan hit a great ball. Mario Olando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haroldo Edur's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Mario Olando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Dantae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jaime Dantae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute, Haroldo Edur made a precise shot to the right of Mario Olando. Barrilete Cósmico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After having played for 81 minutes, Jaime Dantae managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berutti FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Dantae was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saul Silbestre hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 91 minutes, Ciro Conrao mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berutti FC and the Barrilete Cósmico players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 97th minute, Maximiliano Naelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Berutti FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Barrilete Cósmico for a fine match.
