After 13 played minutes Playa Malvín got a freekick which was hit by Jabier Igual. 13 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobías Izamit. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Zé Roberto Teixeira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 18 played minutes Inter de Chillán got a freekick which was hit by Rimas Ciparis. 19 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Åkerström came free, but Zhuo Xuan Yu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match, Rimas Ciparis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zé Roberto Teixeira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rimas Ciparis in the 23rd minute of the match. Playa Malvín's attentive Gamus Rocha managed to snatch the ball when Clemente Jaen made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. In the 29th minute, Alfonso Sotta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter de Chillán fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Åkerström in the 34th minute of play forced Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Zhuo Xuan Yu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florencio Jax could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Zé Roberto Teixeira made a huge save. Zhuo Xuan Yu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Åkerström, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rimas Ciparis in the 48th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Zé Roberto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rimas Ciparis in the 60th minute of the match. Fred Åkerström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Zhuo Xuan Yu made a huge save. Playa Malvín's Sesuldo Roque was substituted for Sandu Mândrilă. Playa Malvín's Josu Onez was substituted for Jabier Igual. Playa Malvín's Niva Espellosa was substituted for Fred Åkerström. Inter de Chillán's Edgardo Abdallah was substituted for Sun Libo. Zhuo Xuan Yu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niva Espellosa went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Niva Espellosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st minute Eladio Araujo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chen Feng Jian kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Sotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Niva Espellosa notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Inter de Chillán's Zhuo Xuan Yu. Zhuo Xuan Yu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Playa Malvín were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Inter de Chillán's much stronger midfield.
