Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gavino Aguirre started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes, Gavino Aguirre made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Apocalypto's Eugenio Schirru tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 6th match minute, Toronto Marlies FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gino Goldstein to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, Gavino Aguirre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio Schirru was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 13 minutes into the match, Gavino Aguirre notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Apocalypto's Eugenio Schirru. Eugenio Schirru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gavino Aguirre in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Schirru saved Apocalypto from getting behind. Eugenio Schirru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Aguirre in the 21st minute of the match. Toronto Marlies FC's Ernesto Nafarroa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bianco Grasso in the 27 minute of the game. Eugenio Schirru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Aguirre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Bianco Grasso threw the ball into play from the sideline. Toronto Marlies FC's Gino Goldstein quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience was convinced that Gavino Aguirre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Schirru was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. 36 minutes into the match, Gavino Aguirre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eugenio Schirru. After 43 minutes, Gavino Aguirre made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Apocalypto's Eugenio Schirru tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Toronto Marlies FC were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Davide Cavaliere stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Gavino Aguirre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gavino Aguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Eugenio Schirru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 played minutes Gavino Aguirre rounded Apocalypto's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-7. After 69 played minutes Toronto Marlies FC got a freekick which was hit by John England. Toronto Marlies FC's Noel Hamlin was substituted for John England. After 71 played minutes Toronto Marlies FC got a freekick which was hit by John England. In the 73rd minute, Gavino Aguirre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Toronto Marlies FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Gavino Aguirre took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenio Schirru. Eugenio Schirru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. In the 81st minute, Gavino Aguirre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio Schirru was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. Toronto Marlies FC's Fredrick Abrams was substituted for Gavino Aguirre. Eugenio Schirru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fredrick Abrams went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. Fredrick Abrams received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Eugenio Schirru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toronto Marlies FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
