Manoel de Amorim's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benedito Trigo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Sagarana Clube from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute Albano Ban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Albano Ban left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aesir FC FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 12th minute, Albano Ban ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benedito Trigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Aesir FC FSCMZ's zone, Marco Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Eduardo Galvão came out of the goal and Marco Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Aesir FC FSCMZ's Albano Ban in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sagarana Clube's goalie prevented a goal. Benedito Trigo made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Anselmo Fantini sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Ban came free, but Benedito Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedito Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Ban, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Albano Ban blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benedito Trigo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Ban in the 38th minute of play forced Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Benedito Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Marco Torres came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Sagarana Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Torres couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Manoel de Amorim came free, but Benedito Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Eduardo Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Barros in the 52nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Serafim Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sagarana Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafim Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Eduardo Galvão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serafim Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serafim Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Serafim Barros hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Doriva Bueno hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Marco Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Luiz Eduardo Galvão made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Aesir FC FSCMZ's zone, Serafim Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Eduardo Galvão came out of the goal and Serafim Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albano Ban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the game, Aesir FC FSCMZ's Albano Ban nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedito Trigo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. With a little luck, Aesir FC FSCMZ's Luiz Eduardo Galvão got control of the ball when Marco Torres tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 77 played minutes Aesir FC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Hernani Félix. Sagarana Clube's Zé Roberto da Costa was substituted for Beto Heidemann. Sagarana Clube's Yu Yang Sang was substituted for Serafim Barros. Hernani Félix hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Benedito Trigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albano Ban's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 89th minute, Carlos Eduardo Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 92 played minutes Sagarana Clube got a freekick which was hit by Benê Hoffmann. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Ban in the 93rd minute of play forced Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Benedito Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sagarana Clube's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
