In the 26th minute Horácio Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Heidemann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Heidemann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adhemar Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Karsten Ulbak got a throw-in 54 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ronaldinho Gaucho. 57 minutes into the game, Horácio Abraão recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luiz Heidemann. Horácio Abraão showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Joinville City - FSCMZ made a substitution. Geovanildo Luis replaced Adhemar Santos. Haji Sarap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neymar Juniors in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Joinville City - FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Breen John was slow to take the kick. During this time Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. If Manoel Garrincha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when João Francisco Arce came free, but Luiz Heidemann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Joinville City - FSCMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Heidemann FC - FSCMZ.
