To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, Rovine Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Arda Akgündüz came free, but Victor Negara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Negara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Geleberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Geleberto in the 20th minute of play forced Rovine Craiova's goalkeeper Victor Negara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manole Frunză to make the kick off. Rovine Craiova's Victor Negara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arda Akgündüz in the 75th minute of play. Victor Negara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arda Akgündüz's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Velez sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Shen Xi Bang came free, but Narciso Frechoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Shen Xi Bang notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Velez sarsfield's Narciso Frechoso. Narciso Frechoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Velez sarsfield eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
