Henry Van Herendael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Octavian Rutgeerts's late challenge caught a The Everett Hawks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octavian Rutgeerts helped the player get up and apologised. Octavian Rutgeerts hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Philippe-Arnaud Heremans made the kick off in the second half. Shota Stopa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Pirlo in the 52nd minute of play. Henry Van Herendael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pierrot Uyttebroeck scored 1-3 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henry Van Herendael, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pierrot Uyttebroeck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Henry Van Herendael made a huge save. Shota Stopa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Pirlo in the 94th minute of play. After 95 played minutes Pezerik got a freekick which was hit by Pierrot Uyttebroeck. Pezerik's Romain Imbereghs was substituted for Pierrot Uyttebroeck. A collision led to Pezerik getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Pierrot Uyttebroeck hit a great ball.
When the match was over Pezerik could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than The Everett Hawks throughout the match.
