In the 10th match minute, Nascente do Leça was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Bomba to maneuver through the defense. Frederico Vilalobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Artizar in the 17th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Ezequiel Artizar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico Vilalobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frederico Vilalobos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Artizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After taking down the ball on Los Delfines's corner Eduardo Gervaso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Frederico Vilalobos quite easily take care of the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Los Delfines's Daniel Abeitia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frederico Vilalobos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 36 minutes, Ruperto Theobald mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Delfines and the Nascente do Leça players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes Los Delfines got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Theobald.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severiano Campelo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Los Delfines's Gualterio Burutzagi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Campelo in the 54th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Frederico Vilalobos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 67 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's Ezequiel Artizar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederico Vilalobos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severiano Campelo in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gualterio Burutzagi saved Los Delfines from getting behind. In the 72nd minute Severiano Campelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Burutzagi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ezequiel Artizar got free with Frederico Vilalobos in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Abeitia struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Frederico Vilalobos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Delfines. Los Delfines made a substitution. Constantino Remicio replaced Clemente Gonzalez. Los Delfines's Saverio Regis was substituted for Ezequiel Artizar. Nascente do Leça's Frederico Vilalobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Libertad in the 88th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Pastor Libertad recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Frederico Vilalobos. Pastor Libertad showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Los Delfines had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
