Pedro Luiz Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renan Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. S.C.CHUÍ were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Lupere FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luisão Trigo took the corner. If Ezequiel Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Luiz Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renan Quirino in the 12th minute. Laerte Barreto hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 16 played minutes, Lupere FC's Umberto Nogueira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Cunha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lupere FC reached it. 24 minutes into the match, S.C.CHUÍ's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renan Quirino. In the 24th minute, Renan Quirino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lupere FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Lupere FC's Manuel Valle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Luiz Cunha. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. Pedro Luiz Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renan Quirino's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 40th match minute, Lupere FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Goiano to maneuver through the defense. Umberto Bertassi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adilson Palmeira having to make a save. Ricardo Goiano's late challenge caught a S.C.CHUÍ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Goiano helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lupere FC's Ricardo Goiano got a free kick in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Renan Quirino to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Virgílio Leal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.C.CHUÍ and the Lupere FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to S.C.CHUÍ getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Virgílio Leal hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, Lupere FC's Renan Quirino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Luiz Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 57 minutes, Matías Fontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lupere FC and the S.C.CHUÍ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Matías Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Matías Fontes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. After 59 played minutes Lupere FC got a freekick which was hit by Matías Fontes. Umberto Bertassi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 60th playminute. Umberto Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Adilson Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 minutes, Manuel Valle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lupere FC and the S.C.CHUÍ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes Lupere FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Valle. A collision led to S.C.CHUÍ getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Cláudio Sabóia hit a great ball. In the 71st minute Manuel Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Umberto Bertassis short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Adilson Palmeira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. João Paulo Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Pedro Luiz Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Valle in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to S.C.CHUÍ getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Nildo Xavier hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Valle in the 80th minute of play forced S.C.CHUÍ's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cláudio Sabóia hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Pedro Luiz Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renan Quirino in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of S.C.CHUÍ booed when Lupere FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zézinho Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Umberto Bertassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raúl Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute of the match Umberto Nogueira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Luiz Cunha skillfully saved the ball. Lupere FC's Adilson Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nildo Xavier in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the S.C.CHUÍ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lupere FC.
