Airborne FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Barrera 2.0 the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Airborne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th match minute, FC Barrera 2.0 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Braga to maneuver through the defense. Christian Castro came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Airborne FC's Kléber Salles. But to his dismay, Kléber Salles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Luiz Fábio Barbosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diamantino de Queiroz was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. With a little luck, Airborne FC's Diamantino de Queiroz got control of the ball when Gabriel Velasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diamantino de Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fábio Barbosa in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Kléberson Meireles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Airborne FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Barrera 2.0 the free kick. The supporters of FC Barrera 2.0 booed when Airborne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fábio Barbosa in the 27th minute of play forced Airborne FC's goalkeeper Diamantino de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Barrera 2.0's Christian Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Queiroz in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to FC Barrera 2.0 getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Durvalino Trevisan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Queiroz in the 35th minute of play forced FC Barrera 2.0's goalkeeper Christian Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Kléber Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diamantino de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlinhos Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Diamantino de Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valério Xavier in the 39th minute. Diamantino de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fábio Barbosa in the 43rd minute of the match. Airborne FC's Diamantino de Queiroz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Airborne FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valério Xavier got free with Diamantino de Queiroz in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valério Xavier made a kick off. Leandro Capixaba hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Diamantino de Queiroz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valério Xavier's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Luiz Fábio Barbosa took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diamantino de Queiroz. Diamantino de Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Diamantino de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valério Xavier in the 61st minute of the match. Diamantino de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fábio Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Luiz Fábio Barbosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diamantino de Queiroz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. FC Barrera 2.0's Thomás Travassos was substituted for Gerson Berger. Diamantino de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute, Luiz Fábio Barbosa made a precise shot to the right of Diamantino de Queiroz. Airborne FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After 81 minutes of play, FC Barrera 2.0's Gabriel Velasco made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diamantino de Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diamantino de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlinhos Velasco in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Luiz Fábio Barbosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diamantino de Queiroz. Airborne FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Fábio Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. A collision led to Airborne FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Abel Gaspar hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Carlinhos Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Barrera 2.0's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlinhos Velasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diamantino de Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Airborne FC defense, Alex Lara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diamantino de Queiroz. The Airborne FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diamantino de Queiroz should have stopped the shot. FC Barrera 2.0's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
