The Herblay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

VERΛ's Benedicto Espiridion was substituted for Rosendo Vito. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teobaldo Hegoi made a kick off. In the 71st match minute, Herblay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamza Rouch to maneuver through the defense. Santos Eyague, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. VERΛ's Ricardo Honrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salomon Got in the 73rd minute of play. Antonin Daguerre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Honrio having to interfere. Teobaldo Hegoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Kader Raguin made a huge save. After a rather tough play, VERΛ's Clemente Guillem got a free kick in the 84th minute. Ricardo Honrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salomon Got, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. VERΛ's Santos Eyague couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Herblay. Herblay's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
