An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Sidro in the 16th minute of play forced Colo-Colo's goalkeeper Rambo Ramírez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ivo Basay came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Colo-Colo fans jumped to their feet.
