Yngve Fredriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Inautzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Sven Thorsbergs short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Yngve Fredriksson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 91st minute, Djurgårdens IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Christopher Birchall fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Sven Thorsberg put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Yngve Fredriksson.
