After 2 played minutes KEZ Toppfotball got a freekick which was hit by Jarle Hoddevik. After a rather tough play, KEZ Toppfotball's Odd Bøhn got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Ştefan Gârniceanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roar Grønningsæter in the 6th minute. The audience was convinced that Philip Aelgoet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bjørnar Bach was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. The KEZ Toppfotball fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bjørnar Bach should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Philip Aelgoet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bjørnar Bach. KEZ Toppfotball's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Philip Aelgoet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Petruț Marincean scored 0-4 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bjørnar Bach, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind KEZ Toppfotball's goalkeeper Bjørnar Bach, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Philip Aelgoet made the kick off in the second half. KEZ Toppfotball's players were relieved. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by KEZ Toppfotball's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Petruț Marincean was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Lutanu's players had a chance to rest. Petruț Marincean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bjørnar Bach acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Virgil Goșa. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Matei Hâncu took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Bjørnar Bach to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle sounded FC Lutanu left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than KEZ Toppfotball.
