In the 11th minute Jeremias Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Villamarin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso Villamarin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clayton Pedron, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Genílson da Silva was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Diguinho Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilio Lorca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Clayton Pedron dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Leones FC's Alfonso Villamarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clayton Pedron in the 30th minute of play. Alfonso Villamarin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Capixaba in the 31st minute of the match. Leones FC's Alfonso Villamarin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Leones FC from getting a goal against them. After 40 minutes Leones FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Charles Capixaba who took care of the corner kick. Clayton Pedron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Villamarin having to interfere. When Clayton Pedron fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C o n f i a n ç a - SE's protests and gave Clayton Pedron a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes C o n f i a n ç a - SE got a freekick which was hit by Clayton Pedron. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Clayton Gol was substituted for Clayton Pedron. In the 52nd minute, Teofilio Lorca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfonso Villamarin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Maia's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. The throw-in from Bonifaco Elenes in the 65th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Valer Donose. The throw-in from Clayton Clayton in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Leones FC's Tauro Camero. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofilio Lorca got free with Diguinho Carioca in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Clayton Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leones FC's Miro Tellado was substituted for Teofilio Lorca. C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Diguinho Carioca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save C o n f i a n ç a - SE from getting a goal against them. C o n f i a n ç a - SE were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Leones FC for a fine match.
