The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 石洋康 kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Mugurel Nediu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Papo Folgueras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 11th minute of the game Gilberto Casals made a throw-in which René Alabern played forward. 19 minutes into the match, Soner Turking dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Apolo Rius, 1-1. Mugurel Nediu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Golden Dragón F.C's Papo Folgueras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugurel Nediu in the 23rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Fernandez Vizcarreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute of the game Koulis Kostakoglou made a throw-in which Mugurel Nediu played forward. 44 minutes into the match, Latocayteva F.C.'s goalkeeper Apolo Rius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Soner Turking. Golden Dragón F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zhang Yu Zhou in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Soner Turking got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 54 played minutes Golden Dragón F.C got a freekick which was hit by Gasteiz Durazno. After having played for 58 minutes, Soner Turking managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Dragón F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Soner Turking was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute of the match Latocayteva F.C. got a corner. Golden Dragón F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zigrīds Pedersens ran over to the corner to take the kick. Apolo Rius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ceyhan Celvet's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Golden Dragón F.C's Ceyhan Celvet quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ubaldo Santos, made in the 70th minute of the game. Apolo Rius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camerino Luey in the 73rd minute of the match. When Ceyhan Celvet came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Golden Dragón F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceyhan Celvet couldn't finish the play. Latocayteva F.C.'s Gatot Berlioz was substituted for Saul Villanueva. Latocayteva F.C.'s Vito Alcalde was substituted for René Alabern. In the 80th match minute, Golden Dragón F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 石洋康 to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceyhan Celvet in the 87th minute of play forced Latocayteva F.C.'s goalkeeper Apolo Rius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Latocayteva F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ceyhan Celvet came free, but Apolo Rius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Apolo Rius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camerino Luey, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Latocayteva F.C.'s zone, Camerino Luey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Rius came out of the goal and Camerino Luey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Golden Dragón F.C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Latocayteva F.C. for a fine match.
