An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Lucas in the 3rd minute of play forced Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goalkeeper Duarte Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gernando dos Santos hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Dedê Brodel charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dedê Brodel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 played minutes Pombal 2003 F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dedê Brodel. The audience was convinced that Ronaldinho Cruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duarte Pontes was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 11th minute Gernando dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to A A Arizona getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Gernando dos Santos hit a great ball. 胡振鸿 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kauã Lago's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Kauã Lago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. 胡振鸿 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute, A A Arizona's Ronaldinho Cruz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. A A Arizona's Manuel Paiva was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Pombal 2003 F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of A A Arizona:s goal. Duarte Pontes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Paulo de Queirós went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Leonardo Lucas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Duarte Pontes came out and tried to block the shot, but Leonardo Lucas slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 40th minute. The supporters of A A Arizona booed when Pombal 2003 F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Dedê Brodel got a free kick in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonardo Lucas to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, A A Arizona's Ronaldinho Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Duarte Pontes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Duarte Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of A A Arizona booed when Pombal 2003 F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelinho Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Lucas took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duarte Pontes. Duarte Pontes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. 60 minutes into the game, A A Arizona's Gernando dos Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Duarte Pontes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. Pedrinho Quirino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nilson Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Gernando dos Santos notched a goal, 9-1, to the right of Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Duarte Pontes. Duarte Pontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Duarte Pontes came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by A A Arizona's Leonardo Lucas. But to his dismay, Leonardo Lucas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-1. Maicon Borges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but 胡振鸿 made a huge save. Duarte Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute Leonardo Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, A A Arizona's Gernando dos Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After some careless play in the Pombal 2003 F.C. defense, Ronaldinho Cruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duarte Pontes. The Pombal 2003 F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duarte Pontes should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Lucas came free, but Duarte Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Leonardo Lucas notched a goal, 13-1, to the right of Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Duarte Pontes. Duarte Pontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
