Cuervos AFC's Evaristo Roldan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Enmanuel in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute, Cuervos AFC's Eleuterio Rameriz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amanda van der Sar. Amanda van der Sar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Formentera's Paulo Enmanuel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evaristo Roldan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amanda van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Petrigai, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Åke Mattsson came free, but Amanda van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amanda van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Enmanuel in the 28th minute of play forced Cuervos AFC's goalkeeper Evaristo Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evaristo Roldan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Monte in the 32nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Paulo Enmanuel sped through Cuervos AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Evaristo Roldan. In the 37th minute, Fabio Monte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evaristo Roldan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Enmanuel in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evaristo Roldan saved Cuervos AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Enmanuel in the 44th minute of play forced Cuervos AFC's goalkeeper Evaristo Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute Paulo Enmanuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Roldan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Enmanuel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Horacio Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amanda van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Illan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaristo Roldan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Enmanuel's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Jorrin in the 65th minute of play forced Cuervos AFC's goalkeeper Evaristo Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Formentera's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hermengildo Jorrin in the 66th minute. Hermengildo Jorrin made a great header on Formentera's corner, it was just that Cuervos AFC's Evaristo Roldan managed to reach the ball for a save. Evaristo Roldan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Enmanuel in the 71st minute. Paulo Enmanuel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Evaristo Roldan made a huge save. Timoteo Resto replaced Eleuterio Rameriz. 78 minutes into the match, Cuervos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Monte came free, but Evaristo Roldan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Enmanuel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Evaristo Roldan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Evaristo Roldan managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Formentera's Paulo Enmanuel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Evaristo Roldan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 90th minute, Silverio Napier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amanda van der Sar saved Formentera from getting behind.
