Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Simon Atarratze kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Atarratze in the 7th minute of play forced Velez Sarsfield's goalkeeper Erwin Huygens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield's goalkeeper Erwin Huygens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Erramun. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Gogo Hug, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Erwin Huygens successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aríel Salinas's late challenge caught a Velez Sarsfield's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aríel Salinas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's Aríel Salinas got a free kick in the 18th minute. Julio Erramun's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Erwin Huygens firmly grabbed it by the left post. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Velez Sarsfield's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emiliano Dacio was slow to take the kick. During this time TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Felix Udalaitz managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With a little luck, Velez Sarsfield's Erwin Huygens got control of the ball when Julio Erramun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Erramun in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Erwin Huygens, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gogo Hug dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 37 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Erramun came free, but Erwin Huygens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Cordario in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gogo Hug prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Velez Sarsfield getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Marcos Pacifico hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Cordario stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erwin Huygens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Erramun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erwin Huygens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Erramun, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. A collision led to TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Anselmo Gotzon hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Gogo Hug successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 62nd minute, Julio Erramun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erwin Huygens was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Velez Sarsfield's zone, Julio Erramun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erwin Huygens came out of the goal and Julio Erramun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Velez Sarsfield made a substitution. Javier Pinola replaced Filomeno Montrell. TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's Tolek Burowski was substituted for Felix Udalaitz. TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's Edgardo Pio was substituted for Julio Erramun. Erwin Huygens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Pio, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. If Edgardo Pio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute Augusto Cordario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Hug saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Velez Sarsfield's Augusto Cordario in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dario Gonzalez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erwin Huygens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Velez Sarsfield made a substitution. Leandro Berti replaced Ignacio Berenguer. In the 91st minute TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB were awarded a corner. Emiliano Dacio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Velez Sarsfield's goalie and right to Aríel Salinas. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Velez Sarsfield's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The supporters of TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB booed when Velez Sarsfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Cordario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dario Gonzalez struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Erwin Huygens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB.
