Lázaro Colon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Ángel Benito's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Cascadia United were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Juniors FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rene Pueblo took the corner. After 26 played minutes Cascadia United got a freekick which was hit by Abel Neron. A collision led to Juniors FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Armando Urbes hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Cascadia United's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Isias came free, but Leonel Rocco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juniors FC's Virgilio Satordi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rene Pueblo, made in the 35th minute of the game. In the 37thth minute of the game Uriel Isias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cascadia United's Leonel Rocco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th minute Uriel Isias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Rocco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Leopold Greve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 54th minute, Juniors FC's Uriel Isias dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Leonel Rocco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Isias in the 57th minute of play. Leonel Rocco came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Juniors FC's Uriel Isias. But to his dismay, Uriel Isias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 64th match minute, Juniors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Porfirio to maneuver through the defense. Juniors FC made a substitution. Emiliano Boni replaced Cayetano Hunfredo. Juniors FC's Wlodzimierz Lepper was substituted for Emiliano Garaona. Leonel Rocco made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Nicanor Porfirio sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th match minute, Cascadia United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wang Di Yi to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Rocco was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Enrique Frasco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Enrique Frasco really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. When the match was over Juniors FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cascadia United throughout the match.
