The throw-in from Ignacio Berenguer in the 22nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cachiyuyo EAS's Froilan Ponc. In the 24th minute, Augusto Cordario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Velez Sarsfield fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1.
