In the 2nd minute Jorge Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvin Hökkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arvin Hökkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bailey Kerns in the 9th minute. After 11 minutes of play, PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Jorge Pirani made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arvin Hökkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! American Airlines's Arvin Hökkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save American Airlines from getting a goal against them. In the 18thth minute of the game Alexandru Eugen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but American Airlines's Arvin Hökkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Reyes Boyle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandru Eugen in the 30th minute of play forced American Airlines's goalkeeper Arvin Hökkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Peter Steele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bennvar Nobel in the 36th minute of play. With a little luck, American Airlines's Arvin Hökkvist got control of the ball when Bailey Kerns tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute Anoush Khalatbari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Steele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, American Airlines's Edwin 雷震南 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Steele narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Edwin 雷震南 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Steele was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andre Randall to strike the kick off in the second half. Arvin Hökkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS-UTAH's goalkeeper Peter Steele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anoush Khalatbari. A collision led to PALMEIRAS-UTAH getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jorge Pirani hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anoush Khalatbari in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Steele prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Peter Steele successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the PALMEIRAS-UTAH defense, Bennvar Nobel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peter Steele. The PALMEIRAS-UTAH fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter Steele should have stopped the shot. When PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Tristan Alford in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye American Airlines's goalie prevented a goal. Peter Steele made an important save on a dangerous shot by Darnell Metcalf in the 88th minute. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Peter Steele proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save PALMEIRAS-UTAH from getting a goal against them. Darnell Metcalf took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter Steele. Peter Steele dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vincent Sandström in the 96th minute.

American Airlines played a much better game than PALMEIRAS-UTAH and deserved their victory. The PALMEIRAS-UTAH players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
