But to his dismay, Alfredo Stefano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Roger Freire who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Wincent Dropinski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 37 minutes into the game, Gilberto Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castanheiro SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TIMETER EC -DMZ- the free kick. Gilberto Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Rodolfo Sergipano in the 40th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Wanderson Lira. In the 41stth minute of the game Mathias Alves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Castanheiro SC's Wincent Dropinski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 54 played minutes TIMETER EC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Øien. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Robben Spoelberchs got a free kick in the 58th minute. The supporters of TIMETER EC -DMZ- booed when Castanheiro SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Stefano got free with Paulo Victor in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
