Motta Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Inko Colillas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 34th minute Motta Futebol Clube were awarded a corner. Juninho Aparecido went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Válbson de Alcântara managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Aírton de Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Battal Gazi Bey, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Battal Gazi Bey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aírton de Lima read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Battal Gazi Bey struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Aírton de Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S O B E R A N O CIMZ. The Motta Futebol Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. S O B E R A N O CIMZ were winning 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Battal Gazi Bey was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Battal Gazi Bey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute, Battal Gazi Bey made a precise shot to the right of Aírton de Lima. Motta Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. William Zombori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lu Ladron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Sabóia in the 79th minute of play forced S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goalkeeper William Zombori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Battal Gazi Bey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The S O B E R A N O CIMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing S O B E R A N O CIMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
