The S O B E R A N O CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in S O B E R A N O CIMZ's zone, Noureddine Sanchis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Zombori came out of the goal and Noureddine Sanchis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Battal Gazi Bey struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Christophe Pourre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S O B E R A N O CIMZ. In the 25th minute, Battal Gazi Bey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S O B E R A N O CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. William Zombori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Richie, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's Nelson Rufino got a free kick in the 31st minute. Christophe Pourre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Battal Gazi Bey in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Paulinho Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Zombori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Battal Gazi Bey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christophe Pourre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After 44 minutes LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gökçe Tengiz who took care of the corner kick. After the first half S O B E R A N O CIMZ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience was convinced that Ramon Richie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but William Zombori was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by S O B E R A N O CIMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcel Méjean was slow to take the kick. During this time LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Karl Souvignet almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but S O B E R A N O CIMZ's William Zombori did a great save. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Noureddine Sanchis sped through S O B E R A N O CIMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of William Zombori. William Zombori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Richie in the 63rd minute of play. Nelson Rufino's late challenge caught a S O B E R A N O CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nelson Rufino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Rufino to maneuver through the defense. Battal Gazi Beys short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Christophe Pourre to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's goalkeeper Christophe Pourre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gökçe Tengiz in the 77th minute.
