Marius Macovei showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With a little luck, Stommeer A's Edgardo Oinaz got control of the ball when Marius Macovei tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute Vinícius Junior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazarópi Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martijn Jol in the 30th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund MZB's goalkeeper Mazarópi Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mazarópi Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martijn Jol in the 34th minute of the match. Stommeer A's Edgardo Oinaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Blasi in the 35th minute of play. Clarence Seedorf kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 45th minute Generoso Normando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazarópi Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 48 played minutes Stommeer A got a freekick which was hit by Tom Hedvall. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Vinícius Junior made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Stommeer A defense, Marius Macovei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgardo Oinaz. The Stommeer A fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgardo Oinaz should have stopped the shot. Generoso Normando in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mazarópi Barros, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mazarópi Barros made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Vinícius Junior sent off a good shot on target. Mazarópi Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martijn Jol in the 67th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Stommeer A's zone, Marius Macovei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Oinaz came out of the goal and Marius Macovei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Guga Capixaba was substituted for Cui Qian Jun. Borussia Dortmund MZB made a substitution. Washington de Lara replaced Dedé Maldini. Edgardo Oinaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Macovei in the 77th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damien Roetering got free with Mazarópi Barros in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mazarópi Barros made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Vinícius Junior sent off a good shot on target. When Guga Capixaba fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borussia Dortmund MZB's protests and gave Guga Capixaba a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, Guga Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stommeer A's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Borussia Dortmund MZB had won, even though Stommeer A had held more of the ball.
