The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ruy Montenegro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christos Bekos's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's goalkeeper Dimitris Vasilakos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Eduardo Brodel. Trifillia.FC's Dimitris Vasilakos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Trifillia.FC from getting a goal against them. Ruy Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kostas Proestos in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Christos Bekos came free, but Ruy Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Eduardo Brodel came free, but Dimitris Vasilakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 34 minutes, Sabit Piruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trifillia.FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sabit Piruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute of the game Luís Paulo do Nascimento made a throw-in which Amadeu do Nascimento played forward. Carlos-Henrique Casemiro hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Sabit Piruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Bekos in the 43rd minute of play forced Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ruy Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Trifillia.FC's Dimitris Vasilakos got control of the ball when Luiz Eduardo Brodel tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gernando Azevedo to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sabit Piruz got free with Ruy Montenegro in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dimitris Vasilakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Eduardo Brodel in the 59th minute of the match. Christos Bekos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ruy Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trifillia.FC's Theo Light was substituted for Aggelos Stamatis. Trifillia.FC's Koulis Benos was substituted for Ramiro Marcos. Sabit Piruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ruy Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Eduardo Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Sabit Piruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Dimitris Vasilakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 78 minutes into the game, Sabit Piruz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ruy Montenegro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ruy Montenegro was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Christos Bekos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christos Bekos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Ruy Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christos Bekos in the 85th minute of play. If Arjen Robben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arjen Robben came free, but Dimitris Vasilakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Trifillia.FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
