But to his dismay, Carlos Luna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Thomás Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszek Pawelczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute of the match Galja Kraków got a corner. FALCÕES VERDES's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After some careless play in the FALCÕES VERDES defense, Carlos Luna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomás Fernandes. The FALCÕES VERDES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomás Fernandes should have stopped the shot. Gugu Mello succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 46th playminute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zbyszek Pawelczyk to make the kick off. Bogdan Marek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Galja Kraków made a substitution. Alvaro Arriba replaced Carlos Luna. If Alvaro Arriba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
