Jack Buckland made in the 4th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Antonia Fessey however managed to control. Darley Woods fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Arne Hansson having to interfere. Ahmet İlke Beşer might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Davey Curtis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet İlke Beşer ran back to his position shaking his head. Davey Curtis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet İlke Beşer in the 11th minute of the match. Davey Curtis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet İlke Beşer in the 12th minute of play. Pensioners 2.0's Davey Curtis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Pensioners 2.0 from getting a goal against them. 16 minutes into the match, Pensioners 2.0's goalkeeper Davey Curtis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet İlke Beşer. 18 minutes into the match, Almaröds FF's goal looked a bit too open when Andrew Norden came free, but Per-Arne Hansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Davey Curtis came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Almaröds FF's Ahmet İlke Beşer. But to his dismay, Ahmet İlke Beşer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Norm Willis charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norm Willis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Norm Willis kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When Ahmet İlke Beşer came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Almaröds FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet İlke Beşer couldn't finish the play. Pensioners 2.0's Davey Curtis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet İlke Beşer in the 24th minute of play. If Ahmet İlke Beşer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Davey Curtis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet İlke Beşer in the 32nd minute. Ahmet İlke Beşer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 34 minutes into the match, Pensioners 2.0's goalkeeper Davey Curtis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet İlke Beşer. Ahmet İlke Beşers short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Davey Curtis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Davey Curtis came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Almaröds FF's Simon Thidén. But to his dismay, Simon Thidén quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Pensioners 2.0's zone, Ahmet İlke Beşer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davey Curtis came out of the goal and Ahmet İlke Beşer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Davey Curtis stood somewhat misplaced when Ahmet İlke Beşer came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 42 minute. In the 45th minute, Almaröds FF's Ahmet İlke Beşer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet İlke Beşer was the one to do the kick off. Ahmet İlke Beşer took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Davey Curtis. Davey Curtis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 57 minutes into the match, Pensioners 2.0's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet İlke Beşer came free, but Davey Curtis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Ahmet İlke Beşer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Davey Curtis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 63 minutes, Ahmet İlke Beşer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almaröds FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet İlke Beşer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Davey Curtis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet İlke Beşer in the 65th minute of play. Ahmet İlke Beşer struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Davey Curtis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almaröds FF. After some careless play in the Pensioners 2.0 defense, Ahmet İlke Beşer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Davey Curtis. The Pensioners 2.0 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Davey Curtis should have stopped the shot. Pensioners 2.0's Davey Curtis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet İlke Beşer in the 73rd minute of play. Alvaro Cremonese received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Davey Curtis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet İlke Beşer in the 77th minute of play forced Pensioners 2.0's goalkeeper Davey Curtis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Pensioners 2.0's Per-Arne Hansson threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andrew Norden, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Per-Arne Hansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Darley Woods in the 92nd minute. Sebastian Arenstedt might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Davey Curtis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Arenstedt ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94th minute Sebastian Arenstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davey Curtis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Almaröds FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Palm to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Almaröds FF's goal looked a bit too open when Berry Pickhills came free, but Per-Arne Hansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Almaröds FF had won after a very even match.
