The audience thought a goal was coming when Renos Papoutsas got free with 黄伟斌 in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 黄伟斌 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akis Koukoulekis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The RIO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Avraam Pedoulakis should have stopped the shot. Mihael Stojnić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Avraam Pedoulakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ZG Hakleri's 黄伟斌 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sokratis Tsagarakis in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mihael Stojnić was the one to do the kick off. Avraam Pedoulakis was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Ilko Toplek capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ilko Toplek really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. After a rather tough play, RIO FC's Akis Koukoulekis got a free kick in the 70th minute. Filippos Mimidis's late challenge caught a ZG Hakleri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 76th minute Renos Papoutsas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 黄伟斌 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 played minutes RIO FC got a freekick which was hit by Anastasios Mamais. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihael Stojnić in the 79th managed to get into a good position.
