The audience thought a goal was coming when Ni Jun Liang got free with Kıvanç Bengi in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

In the 52nd minute of the match, Joseph Joestar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jacek Ptaszek was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Joseph Joestar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Carlos Almeida in the 72nd minute of play forced Litoral EC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Kıvanç Bengi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sílvio Luís Madureira hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Kıvanç Bengi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denizhan Ünüvar in the 79th minute of the match. Kıvanç Bengi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. If Steven Bergwijn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
