With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petr Čech prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute, Epaminondas Baba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute Deng Yue Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maksymilian Oliszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cezary Chrzan made in the 36th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Batalhão do Peçanha's Barr Eira. A collision led to Batalhão do Peçanha getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Deng Yue Zhen hit a great ball. Cezary Chrzan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Petr Čech. Batalhão do Peçanha's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Batalhão do Peçanha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Ola Gunnarsson to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Deng Yue Zhen to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deng Yue Zhen in the 56th minute of play forced SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goalkeeper Maksymilian Oliszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SMOCZANKA MIELEC's zone, Deng Yue Zhen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maksymilian Oliszewski came out of the goal and Deng Yue Zhen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deng Yue Zhen kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Maksymilian Oliszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deng Yue Zhen in the 67th minute of play. Maksymilian Oliszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vânderson Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Eugeniusz Rykaczewski was substituted for Konrad Knopek. Jens-Ola Gunnarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Petr Čech successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 83 minutes in the game, Eugeniusz Rykaczewski dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Maksymilian Oliszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Tróia in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Jacinto Pinto made a precise shot to the right of Petr Čech. Batalhão do Peçanha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SMOCZANKA MIELEC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
