The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE booed when Braga Junior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Berart didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Braga Junior FC's zone, Luizão do Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brickeen Wall came out of the goal and Luizão do Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 66 played minutes Braga Junior FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomasz Waldoch. The audience was convinced that Tite Pombo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brickeen Wall was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. In the 69th minute E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE were awarded a corner. Luizão do Nascimento went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's corner Luizão do Nascimento fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Brickeen Wall quite easily take care of the ball. In the 74th minute Adrian Mutu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belmiro Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's attentive Eduardo Langarica managed to snatch the ball when Jairo Jacinto made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
