The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. Iker Yashin had in the 54thth minute some difficulties stopping Marko Blixt's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Ray Hayward came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Club Deportivo Santiago fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ray Hayward couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's Daniël Isla got control of the ball when Esteban Liviano tried to sneak it across the goal line.
