The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Loco Borja's late challenge caught a True storY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Loco Borja helped the player get up and apologised. Loco Borja kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Carlos Alberto Pernambucano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artem Kovtun was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Maadan Lăcătuș's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Higinio Porfiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Emil Kostadinov fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Higinio Porfiro, passed just outside the right post. In the 74th minute, Vyacheslav Gruler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Higinio Porfiro made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Carmichael Cridland sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, LA MAQUINA F.C's Carlos Alberto Pernambucano got a free kick in the 81st minute. LA MAQUINA F.C's Rigoberto Turi got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to True storY getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Denis Makarov hit a great ball. After 87 played minutes LA MAQUINA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Playo. Mai Li Cheng's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Higinio Porfiro firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Raimundo Savion fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA MAQUINA F.C's protests and gave Raimundo Savion a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Raimundo Savion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rigoberto Turi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The LA MAQUINA F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. True storY were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
