The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Revolución Joao FC were awarded a corner. Hermengildo Cordeara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olavo Velloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. 俞锋烽 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cuero Ibañez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Youssef Malek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 俞锋烽. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Youssef Malek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 18th minute, Aguinaga Casasola made a precise shot to the right of 俞锋烽. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, Aguinaga Casasola notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's 俞锋烽. 俞锋烽 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Youssef Malek in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 俞锋烽 saved NEWELL´S OLD BOYS from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aguinaga Casasola in the 29th minute of play forced NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's goalkeeper 俞锋烽 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's 俞锋烽 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aguinaga Casasola in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rdth minute of the game Hermengildo Cordeara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Revolución Joao FC's Olavo Velloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 俞锋烽 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Youssef Malek in the 36th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Hermengildo Cordeara kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olavo Velloso. That made the score 1-3 in the 40 minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hermengildo Cordeara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes, Revolución Joao FC's Cuero Ibañez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 俞锋烽 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Revolución Joao FC reached it. In the 52nd minute, Robustiano Crispo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 俞锋烽 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Youssef Malek went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. If Youssef Malek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 俞锋烽 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Youssef Malek in the 55th minute. 俞锋烽 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Bartoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Revolución Joao FC made a substitution. Hugo Carnero replaced Youssef Malek. In the 60th match minute, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Lore to maneuver through the defense. 俞锋烽 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Bartoli in the 61st minute of the match. Leandro Bartoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. 俞锋烽 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aguinaga Casasola's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, 俞锋烽 skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 67th minute of the match, Leandro Bartoli tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 俞锋烽 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A hard shot 68 in the game by Hugo Carnero from a close distance when the talented 俞锋烽 managed to make a qualified save. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's players were relieved. Revolución Joao FC made a substitution. Zambrano Bravo replaced Reynald Blache. In the 79thth minute of the game Cuero Ibañez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's 俞锋烽 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Revolución Joao FC made a substitution. Justavino Manaut replaced Geronimo Abilio. A nice corner shot did that Aguinaga Casasola got away a dangerous shot. Despite this 俞锋烽 quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 83 played minutes NEWELL´S OLD BOYS got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Mederi. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Leandro Bartoli put it in 1-7 from a short distance just to the right of 俞锋烽. After having played for 87 minutes, Hugo Carnero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Revolución Joao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Carnero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's 俞锋烽 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Bartoli in the 93rd minute of play. Hugo Carnero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The NEWELL´S OLD BOYS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Revolución Joao FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
