After 17 played minutes, Chaco For Ever's Santo Arce shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chaco For Ever reached it. Germano Bettencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute Aureliano Karlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manotham Grandessa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chaco For Ever's Nemesio Quintun got a free kick in the 27th minute. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Quintun in the 29th minute of play. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Rainerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manotham Grandessa was a little too slow when Aureliano Karlo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-0. Manotham Grandessa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureliano Karlo's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 39thth minute of the game Bonifacio Rainerio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Roberto Eztebe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 40 played minutes Chaco For Ever got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Sotero. In the 41st minute Aureliano Karlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manotham Grandessa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Wojciech Fiszer quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Benedicto Sotero, made in the 43rd minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bonifacio Rainerio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Chaco For Ever's Tomás Goiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roberto Eztebe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 64 minutes into the match, Chaco For Ever's Tiburcio Jorrin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Eztebe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aureliano Karlo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manotham Grandessa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Aureliano Karlo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manotham Grandessa was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Benedicto Sotero made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Santo Arce. Julien Staffelbach's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manotham Grandessa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. The corner led Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Mario Sesuldo to fire away a dangerous shot which Manotham Grandessa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Julien Staffelbach looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Paulo Teles got free with Roberto Eztebe in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chaco For Ever's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
