When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Arvid Carlsson put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Art Hauschildt. When Titipounamu's Nando Pereira in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Linköpings AIK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 9th minute, Arvid Carlsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Linköpings AIK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 15 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Nando Pereira came free, but Jimmy Olsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Titipounamu's Nando Pereira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jimmy Olsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximilian Larsson in the 20th minute of play forced Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Jimmy Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 minutes Linköpings AIK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Melchor Sayveon who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Melchor Sayveon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jimmy Olsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nando Pereira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jimmy Olsson having to make a save. 22 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Nando Pereira came free, but Jimmy Olsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Pereira in the 35th minute of play forced Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Jimmy Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimmy Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Pereira in the 37th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Titipounamu's Nando Pereira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jimmy Olsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Albin Nilsson took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Art Hauschildt to make any attempt to save it. Jimmy Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximilian Larsson in the 43rd minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Maximilian Larsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Titipounamu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximilian Larsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

With an all-out effort, Titipounamu's Jimmy Olsson threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nando Pereira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 63 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Jimmy Olsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximilian Larsson. Arvid Carlsson took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Art Hauschildt. Art Hauschildt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. The supporters of Titipounamu booed when Linköpings AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Witarya didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Carlsson in the 74th minute of play forced Titipounamu's goalkeeper Art Hauschildt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximilian Larsson got free with Jimmy Olsson in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Maximilian Larsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimmy Olsson was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Titipounamu made a substitution. Remington Dobson replaced Maximilian Larsson. Arvid Carlsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Art Hauschildt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nando Pereira in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimmy Olsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Titipounamu's Remington Dobson got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nando Pereira struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Jimmy Olsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Titipounamu. Art Hauschildt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remington Dobson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Jimmy Olsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Titipounamu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Linköpings AIK.
