Montevideo City Torque's Jerico Villafana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Andrițoiu in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Cantemir in the 14th minute of play forced Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Jerico Villafana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonard Andrițoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jerico Villafana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️'s Liviu Cantemir got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ilie Duca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esquipula Sandino in the 22nd minute of the match. Ilie Duca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Alvarez in the 24th minute of play. G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️'s Ilie Duca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esquipula Sandino in the 25th minute of play. Remus Boștină helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️ got a freekick which was hit by Remus Boștină. Xosepe Juara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ilie Duca. G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jerico Villafana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Andrițoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liviu Cantemir in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerico Villafana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Alvarez made a kick off. Rodrigo Alvarez scored 0-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilie Duca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th minute Esquipula Sandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilie Duca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute of the game Jerold Avila made a throw-in which Xosepe Juara played forward. Dantae Septien kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Leonard Andrițoiu came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Andrițoiu couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Cantemir in the 87th minute of play forced Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Jerico Villafana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Montevideo City Torque's zone, Leonard Andrițoiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerico Villafana came out of the goal and Leonard Andrițoiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Montevideo City Torque supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Montevideo City Torque would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
