After 4 played minutes Hoberg United got a freekick which was hit by Benny Bus. 9 minutes into the match, Hoberg United's goal looked a bit too open when C.J. La Marca came free, but Dida Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Hoberg United's Paw Heedal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, UE Cornella's goal looked a bit too open when Paw Heedal came free, but Jano França reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dida Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Echavarri in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Benny Bus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jano França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Benny Bus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jano França was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jano França showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paw Heedal, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Paw Heedal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jano França having to make a save. Jano França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paw Heedal in the 40th minute of play. Jano França made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paw Heedal in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paw Heedal was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, UE Cornella's goal looked a bit too open when Paw Heedal came free, but Jano França reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 59 minutes, Paw Heedal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hoberg United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paw Heedal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Hoberg United booed when UE Cornella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvin Vennerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edvin Vennerberg hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Jano França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paw Heedal in the 65th minute of the match. Paw Heedal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jano França having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paw Heedal in the 74th minute of play forced UE Cornella's goalkeeper Jano França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Edvin Vennerberg in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hoberg United's Cintya Palacios. Paw Heedal might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jano França. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paw Heedal ran back to his position shaking his head. Paw Heedal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jano França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudio-Paul Pirinchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jano França having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Hoberg United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benny Bus to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hoberg United fans cheered their team off the field, for while UE Cornella had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
