Dito Ramos started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Guillaume Chaine's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otávio Penha was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dito Ramos in the 14th minute of play forced Valette Stars's goalkeeper 龙剑宽 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes of play, Valette Stars's Mario Dewaele made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Otávio Penha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Otávio Penha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guillaume Chaine's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute Guillaume Chaine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Guillaume Chaine came free, but Otávio Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Valette Stars's Guillaume Chaine in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Icoara Football Club's goalie prevented a goal. 38 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Dewaele came free, but Otávio Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valette Stars's 龙剑宽 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Valette Stars from getting a goal against them. Otávio Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillaume Chaine in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Guillaume Chaine came free, but Otávio Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Valette Stars were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Valette Stars's Saul Eriz was substituted for Boris Marguier. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Dewaele to make the kick off. Cipriano Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Otávio Penha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Dewaele. Otávio Penha stood somewhat misplaced when Guillaume Chaine came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 56 minute. Mario Dewaele might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Otávio Penha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mario Dewaele ran back to his position shaking his head. After 64 minutes of play, Valette Stars's Mario Dewaele made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Otávio Penha was left in no man's land by his defense there! 68 minutes into the match, Dito Ramos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 龙剑宽. Valette Stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dito Ramos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. In the 70th minute, Guillaume Chaine made a precise shot to the right of Otávio Penha. Icoara Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Saul Eriz kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Otávio Penha came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Valette Stars's Guillaume Chaine. But to his dismay, Guillaume Chaine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. In the 85th minute, Saul Eriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Guillaume Chaine had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Otávio Penha. Icoara Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guillaume Chaine was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. Otávio Penha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guillaume Chaine's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The Valette Stars players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
