The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Dedé Correia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ryszard Kopacz was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. 5 minutes into the match, Dedé Correia notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Figueirense - FSCMZ's Ryszard Kopacz. Ryszard Kopacz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 9th minute, Dedé Correia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ryszard Kopacz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 14th minute, Jorge Pontes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garopaba F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Ryszard Kopacz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dedé Correia went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Dedé Correia might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ryszard Kopacz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dedé Correia ran back to his position shaking his head. Ryszard Kopacz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedé Correia in the 29th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Figueirense - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Cruz. Ryszard Kopacz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wambasther Özil, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Dedé Correia might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ryszard Kopacz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dedé Correia ran back to his position shaking his head. If Dedé Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ryszard Kopacz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedé Correia in the 38th minute of the match. Murillo Monteiro charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Murillo Monteiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dedé Correia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ryszard Kopacz having to make a save. 47 minutes into the match, Figueirense - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Dedé Correia came free, but Ryszard Kopacz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Dedé Correia made the kick off in the second half. Figueirense - FSCMZ's Ryszard Kopacz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Figueirense - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. Dedé Correia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Bueno charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolas Bueno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th minute of the match Adalberto Cruz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lauro Meirelles skillfully saved the ball. Murillo Monteiro hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Ryszard Kopacz came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Garopaba F.C's Dedé Correia. But to his dismay, Dedé Correia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After 70 minutes, Sima Alexandru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Figueirense - FSCMZ and the Garopaba F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 played minutes Figueirense - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Sima Alexandru. Wambasther Özil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ryszard Kopacz. Figueirense - FSCMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Figueirense - FSCMZ's Ryszard Kopacz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Figueirense - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. Figueirense - FSCMZ's Ryszard Kopacz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedé Correia in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Garopaba F.C's Cauan dos Santos got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 84th minute, Dedé Correia made a precise shot to the right of Ryszard Kopacz. Figueirense - FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mao Xu Ang in the 90th minute of play forced Garopaba F.C's goalkeeper Lauro Meirelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dedé Correia got free with Ryszard Kopacz in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Murillo Monteiro got his second yellow card in the match during the 95th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Garopaba F.C booed when Figueirense - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murillo Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Garopaba F.C had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
