Damian Fetor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frai Shehu in the 14th minute of play. FÊNIX F.C.'s attentive Arthur Loureiro managed to snatch the ball when Shkëlqim Xhika made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. Arthur Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, Marquinhos Teixeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FÊNIX F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Albania the free kick. In the 24th match minute, FÊNIX F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. Arthur Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laze Gjoka having to interfere. A collision led to FÊNIX F.C. getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Marquinhos Teixeira hit a great ball. FÊNIX F.C.'s Damian Fetor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Januz Oparaku in the 29th minute of play. Damian Fetor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frai Shehu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes, Alesandro Nesta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Albania and the FÊNIX F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to U21 Albania getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Alesandro Nesta hit a great ball. After 34 played minutes FÊNIX F.C. got a freekick which was hit by João Carlos Medeiros. U21 Albania's Januz Oparaku got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute Frai Shehu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Fetor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Frai Shehu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damian Fetor was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Damian Fetor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Januz Oparaku, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Marquinhos Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Laze Gjoka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FÊNIX F.C.. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frai Shehu in the 46th minute of play forced FÊNIX F.C.'s goalkeeper Damian Fetor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Januz Oparaku shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Fetor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Januz Oparaku to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, U21 Albania's Damian Fetor threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Januz Oparaku, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frai Shehu got free with Damian Fetor in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute of the match, Frai Shehu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Damian Fetor was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. U21 Albania's Laze Gjoka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Bouchard in the 69th minute of play. Damian Fetor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Januz Oparaku in the 71st minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Damian Fetor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 72nd minute of the match, Frai Shehu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Damian Fetor was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, FÊNIX F.C.'s Damian Fetor got control of the ball when Frai Shehu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damian Fetor made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Frai Shehu sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Luís Pereira hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. FÊNIX F.C.'s Kauã Moreno was substituted for Marquinhos Teixeira. FÊNIX F.C.'s Genílson Ferraz was substituted for João Carlos Medeiros. Januz Oparaku recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
