Dani Hernández was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Hubert Valler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hubert Valler made a kick off. Venezuela's Dani Hernández played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Äliqulu Vermäliyev in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute Äliqulu Vermäliyev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dani Hernández saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Fernando Pratto got free with Dani Hernández in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dani Hernández made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3.
