The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, AJ Juventus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Morcillo to maneuver through the defense. Loi Icazate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Eleazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute, AJ Juventus FC's Xurde Caño ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gerardo Romelio. Gerardo Romelio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Gerardo Romelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xurde Caño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 minutes of play, SAN LORENZO FC's Augusto Dalmai made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loi Icazate was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ermegildo Llanos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AJ Juventus FC were furious when Duarte Viguera was red carded, 23 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in AJ Juventus FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! In the 25th minute there was a penalty for SAN LORENZO FC. Eriberto Abeitia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Loi Icazate. 1-3. 27 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's Eriberto Abeitia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Loi Icazate narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 29 minutes, Dayam Carces mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AJ Juventus FC and the SAN LORENZO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dayam Carces kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Loi Icazate stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elias Tiso's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the game, Augusto Dalmai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Loi Icazate was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Loi Icazate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Abeitia in the 35th minute of the match. Ermegildo Llanos hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Xurde Caño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The AJ Juventus FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SAN LORENZO FC were winning 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Tiso was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xurde Caño in the 57th minute of play forced SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Gerardo Romelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eriberto Abeitia during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th match minute, SAN LORENZO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Abeitia to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Eriberto Abeitia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Etxatxu Estancion took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gerardo Romelio. If Horado Bargues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 minutes, Nereo Rodas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SAN LORENZO FC and the AJ Juventus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 played minutes SAN LORENZO FC got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Rodas. Aquiles Morcillo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gerardo Romelio. SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ubaldo Jerardo's late challenge caught a AJ Juventus FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ubaldo Jerardo helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in SAN LORENZO FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! SAN LORENZO FC:s Gerardo Romelio showed great skill when he stopped Aquiles Morcillo:s penalty. 77 minutes into the game, Baumer Ocio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Gerardo Romelio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ermegildo Llanos hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Baumer Ocio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerardo Romelio. SAN LORENZO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baumer Ocio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. Gerardo Romelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xurde Caño in the 90th minute of play. Baumer Ocio kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 97th match minute, SAN LORENZO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Tipi to maneuver through the defense.

Fabricio Tipi took the ball and in the 101 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Loi Icazate. Loi Icazate dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-5. The SAN LORENZO FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
