Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cesar Lekubegi made the kick off which started today's match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesar Lekubegi during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Filomeno Tirso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Avram Nandriș went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Caragea in the 12th minute of play forced Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalkeeper Filomeno Tirso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filomeno Tirso came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Buffalo Timişoara's Avram Nandriș. But to his dismay, Avram Nandriș quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ivan Balint charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Balint the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Buffalo Timişoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Balint to maneuver through the defense. If Victor Pandrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd match minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. Roque Totakoxe hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Victor Pandrea struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Filomeno Tirso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buffalo Timişoara. 28 minutes into the game, Buffalo Timişoara's Mircea Dumitrana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filomeno Tirso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Pandrea in the 32nd minute of play forced Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalkeeper Filomeno Tirso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Pandrea's late challenge caught a Sarmiento de Resistencia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Pandrea helped the player get up and apologised. If Leonard Caragea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th match minute, Buffalo Timişoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avram Caba to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute of the match Bernabe George shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aron Râznicu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 42 played minutes Sarmiento de Resistencia got a freekick which was hit by Roque Totakoxe. Leonard Caragea took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filomeno Tirso. Filomeno Tirso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 47 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Caragea came free, but Filomeno Tirso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Buffalo Timişoara were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mircea Dumitrana was the one to do the kick off. Filomeno Tirso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Caragea in the 52nd minute of the match. When Mircea Dumitrana came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Buffalo Timişoara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mircea Dumitrana couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Buffalo Timişoara getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Mircea Dumitrana hit a great ball. Cesar Lekubegi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 played minutes Sarmiento de Resistencia got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Bitxintxo. In the 62nd minute, Mircea Dumitrana made a precise shot to the right of Filomeno Tirso. Sarmiento de Resistencia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Filomeno Tirso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Sarmiento de Resistencia from getting a goal against them. Victor Pandrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Tirso having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Sarmiento de Resistencia got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe George. If Leonard Caragea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Victor Pandrea might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filomeno Tirso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Pandrea ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Sarmiento de Resistencia's zone, Mircea Dumitrana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Tirso came out of the goal and Mircea Dumitrana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute Braulio Ourente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Râznicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
When the final whistle sounded Buffalo Timişoara left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sarmiento de Resistencia.
