The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Black Cloud FC booed when Bandung Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Engkus Sunandar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herbie Sikalopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herbie Sikalopoulos scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dodi Yustisio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dodi Yustisio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbie Sikalopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Herbie Sikalopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dodi Yustisio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herbie Sikalopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. Dodi Yustisio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbie Sikalopoulos in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Muhammet Özenli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Black Cloud FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bandung Tigers the free kick. After 20 played minutes Black Cloud FC got a freekick which was hit by Muhammet Özenli. Muhammet Özenli hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Gürkan Akaydın's late challenge caught a Bandung Tigers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gürkan Akaydın helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Black Cloud FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Gürkan Akaydın hit a great ball. Balaban Orcaner made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Markus Husodo sent off a good shot on target. Daeng Fingkreuw made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Black Cloud FC's Resulhan Avşaroğlu. If Engkus Sunandar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Muhammet Özenli hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Balaban Orcaner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sutan Sundoro in the 41st minute. Sutan Sundoros short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Balaban Orcaner to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Black Cloud FC's zone, Sutan Sundoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Balaban Orcaner came out of the goal and Sutan Sundoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Black Cloud FC's goalkeeper Balaban Orcaner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sutan Sundoro. After a rather tough play, Black Cloud FC's Resulhan Avşaroğlu got a free kick in the 46th minute. Niki Krishna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Balaban Orcaner made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herbie Sikalopoulos to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Black Cloud FC's Herbie Sikalopoulos got a free kick in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbie Sikalopoulos in the 54th minute of play forced Bandung Tigers's goalkeeper Dodi Yustisio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Niki Krishna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Balaban Orcaner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dodi Yustisio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbie Sikalopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bandung Tigers getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Sutan Sundoro hit a great ball. Black Cloud FC made a substitution. Yavuzalp Bakkalbaşı replaced Ahmet Korcan Kabakçı. After a rather tough play, Bandung Tigers's Sutan Sundoro got a free kick in the 69th minute. Balaban Orcaner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niki Krishna in the 72nd minute of the match. Black Cloud FC's Balaban Orcaner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niki Krishna in the 77th minute of play. Balaban Orcaner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fuad Sinambela, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Fuad Sinambela hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Black Cloud FC's Muhammet Özenli tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Balaban Orcaner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sutan Sundoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Bandung Tigers's Dodi Yustisio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbie Sikalopoulos in the 94th minute of play. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 1-1. Extra-time would have to be played.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. Bandung Tigers's Sutan Sundoro started the play with the initial kick off. Balaban Orcaner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sutan Sundoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emirşah Pekgöz kicked well hit freekick during the 107th minute of the match. In the 113th minute Gürkan Akaydın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dodi Yustisio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With the score at 1-1, the referee blew for the end of the half. The players got a few minutes to recover before they had to start the second half of extra-time.

Everyone could clearly see that both Black Cloud FC's and Bandung Tigers's players was becoming tired in their legs when Black Cloud FC's Herbie Sikalopoulos did the kick off in the second half of the overtime. 120 minutes into the match, Gürkan Akaydın notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Bandung Tigers's Dodi Yustisio. Dodi Yustisio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle went the supporters of Black Cloud FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Bandung Tigers side.
