Danilo Rencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, BARRILETE COSMICO's Fulgencio Tajo got a free kick in the 26th minute. Elpidio Hever kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Aldo Colon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Bazkoare in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Club Almirante Brown booed when BARRILETE COSMICO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Iyan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Gonsalvo in the 35th minute of play forced Club Almirante Brown's goalkeeper Aldo Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Club Almirante Brown's Danilo Rencio got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. BARRILETE COSMICO's Denis Seguinus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Vimaro in the 54th minute of play. Osvaldo Gonsalvo came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aldo Colon could save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrigo Pierres during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rodrigo Pierres kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Club Almirante Brown's Feliciano Ledesma was substituted for Erubiel Laurentzi. Rodrigo Pierres hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. BARRILETE COSMICO's Guaberto Bras was substituted for Angelo Peyo. 71 minutes into the match, Club Almirante Brown's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Gonsalvo came free, but Aldo Colon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Pierres kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Club Almirante Brown's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Bazkoare came free, but Aldo Colon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Alfonso Tonio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Aldo Colon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. Club Almirante Brown's Prudencio Donio started the play with the initial kick off. Octavio Stephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Seguinus having to interfere. Rodrigo Pierres was shown his second yellow card after 102 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 103 played minutes Club Almirante Brown got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Pierres. After a defensive mix-up in Club Almirante Brown's zone, Silvano Bazkoare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Colon came out of the goal and Silvano Bazkoare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aldo Colon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Tonio in the 106th minute of play. In the 115th minute, Astor Asier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denis Seguinus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Stephen in the 117th minute of play. Both sets of players were looking tired when the whistle went to end the half. Everyone was pleased to get a few minutes to rest before extra-time resumed.

Tomás Etxepare hit a great freekick 120 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 121st minute, Fulgencio Tajo managed to get in a good position for a shot. BARRILETE COSMICO's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulgencio Tajo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Colon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Club Almirante Brown booed when BARRILETE COSMICO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 126 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Tonio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denis Seguinus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Rencio in the 134th minute of the match. After 30 minutes of extra-time there was still no winner. The players now faced the much dreaded penalty shoot-out.

Tomás Etxepare's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Denis Seguinus - 3-3 was put on the score board in the 142nd minute. In the 143rd minute there was a penalty for BARRILETE COSMICO. Alfonso Tonio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aldo Colon. 3-4. When the match had been going on for 146 minutes, BARRILETE COSMICO's Osvaldo Gonsalvo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Aldo Colon. The goalkeeper, Denis Seguinus, was totally fooled by Club Almirante Brown's Prudencio Donio, who 148 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The referee gave BARRILETE COSMICO a penalty, 149 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fulgencio Tajo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Almirante Brown's Aldo Colon. 5-6. The score was 7-7 after a penalty in the 153rd minute, where Club Almirante Brown:s Octavio Stephen tricked BARRILETE COSMICO:s Denis Seguinus with a difficult ball by the left post. When the match had been going on for 155 minutes, BARRILETE COSMICO's Lisandro Iyan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Aldo Colon. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched BARRILETE COSMICO eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
