After a rather tough play, Utopía Muerta FC's Cristo Leoncio got a free kick in the 6th minute. Marlin FC's Dong Xiong Sang shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mano Hume but with some difficulty. Marcelino Baumer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Mano Hume made a huge save. Marlin FC's Anastasio Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Martinez in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the Utopía Muerta FC defense, Marcelino Baumer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mano Hume. The Utopía Muerta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mano Hume should have stopped the shot. Utopía Muerta FC's Mano Hume proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Utopía Muerta FC from getting a goal against them. Severo Bermudo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anastasio Janpier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Mano Hume showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yin Yang in the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Uriel Santiago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Janpier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's Aybek Orcun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mano Hume narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anastasio Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Bermudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th match minute, Marlin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchor Oidor to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Bermudo in the 32nd minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Anastasio Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Bermudo came free, but Anastasio Janpier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mano Hume showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yin Yang in the 38th minute of the match. Marlin FC were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Utopía Muerta FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Isidoro Urko took the corner. The corner ended in Isidoro Urko almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Utopía Muerta FC's Mano Hume did a great save. In the 42nd minute Severo Bermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Janpier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anastasio Janpier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Bermudo in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ismael Iglesias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Utopía Muerta FC booed when Marlin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Oidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marlin FC's Anastasio Janpier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Marlin FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Ramón Furtado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anastasio Janpier. That made the score 2-2 in the 66 minute of play. In the 72nd minute Fermin Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Janpier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anastasio Janpier had great luck who in the 72ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Severo Bermudo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Utopía Muerta FC's Severo Bermudo got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aybek Orcun in the 75th minute of play forced Utopía Muerta FC's goalkeeper Mano Hume to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fermin Martinez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anastasio Janpier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramón Furtado in the 84th minute of the match. Mano Hume stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aybek Orcun's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Braulio Hibai got free with Anastasio Janpier in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 95 played minutes Marlin FC got a freekick which was hit by Boleslaw Gecionis. Braulio Hibai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Anastasio Janpier made a huge save.
